The Complete Cat Package includes a 3-in-1 FVRC screen, FeLV test, CBC, chemistry/T4 panel, deworming medication and a comprehensive physical exam. Together these assess infectious disease, organ function, parasites and overall health to guide preventive care.
Yes — indoor cats benefit from baseline testing and screening. FeLV and FVRC exposures can occur from boarding, wildlife or new pets. Routine bloodwork and deworming detect early issues and establish a health baseline for future care.
Point-of-care 3-in-1 and FeLV rapid tests often give same-day results. CBC and chemistry/T4 panels may take 24–72 hours if sent to an external lab. We'll contact you promptly with findings and recommendations.
Sedation is generally not required. Most cats tolerate the physical exam and routine blood draw with gentle handling. In rare anxious or fractious cats we may recommend mild sedation to ensure safety and accurate samples.
Follow-ups depend on findings. Normal results often lead to routine annual checkups. Abnormal bloodwork, positive infectious disease tests, or parasite detection may require treatment, monitoring or retesting. We'll create a personalized follow-up plan based on your cat's needs.
Bring medical records and any vaccination history. Withhold food for 8–12 hours before bloodwork unless your veterinarian advises otherwise; water is okay. Arrive calm, bring a carrier and familiar blanket to reduce stress during exam and sampling.
